Robert "Bob" Lee Dykes, Sr.
DYKES, Sr., A.I.A., Robert Lee "Bob", 74, of Brandon, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011. A long-time community leader of Brandon and active in numerous civic and fraternal organizations in the community, Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Roy A. and Bonnie Dykes; brother, Derl Dykes and grandson, Cody Dykes. He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Dykes; daughter, Tammy (Randy) Jacobs; son, Lee (Tracey) Dykes; sisters, Charlene (Kenny) Wells and Sherrill (Patrick) Tibbals; brother, Joe (Mary) Dykes and granddaughters, Kelly and Kazie Jacobs, Mandi, Molly and Macy Dykes.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 27, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church of Brandon, 120 N. Knights Avenue. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery with Masonic Services from Brandon Lodge #114, F. A.M. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview.
