Obituary for Robert Earl Cornelison

Robert Earl Cornelison, 85, of Tampa, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. A native of Pocahontas, Alabama, he had resided here most of his lifetime. He was a member of East Point Assembly of God and was retired, after 22 years, as a Captain for the Tampa Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Velma; sons, Robert Wayne Cornelison and Nathan Miller; daughter, Lorraine Miller; brother, Kenneth Cornelison; sisters, Shelby Jean Tune and Linda Collett; grandchildren, Melissa Sawyer, Charles Miller, Michael Miller and Ashley Robinson and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, Brandon. Due to Covid restrictions, attendance will be limited to 75 people.
