ACKROYD, Robert A. "Bob", 80, of Riverview, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014. A native of Newark, NJ, he had resided here for 25 years, coming from Long Island, NY. He was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Brandon, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Meals on Wheels and a US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; sons, Jeffrey Ackroyd, Sarasota and Russell Ackroyd, Southold, NY; daughters, Robyn Ackroyd, Brandon and Bonnie Ackroyd-Boltz, Riverview; brother, David Ackroyd, Kalispell, MT; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life service will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday, February 17, 2014, at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 3315 Bryan Rd, Brandon, FL 33511. A reception will follow.
