SHOCKEY, Richard 84, of Riverview, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 24. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Connie. He is reunited in heaven with their daughter, Ann who died in 1970. Dick retired in 1990 after a lengthy career with GTE. Dick and Connie are active members of First Baptist Brandon, Florida. Dick had an exemplary ministry at the church serving in various capacities. He served as a Deacon, Church Treasurer, Trustee, Long Range Planning Committee, and in various other positions. His faithfulness to Christ and family defined his life. The Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Brandon on Wednesday, February 27, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions through First Baptist Brandon, 216 N Parsons Avenue, Brandon, Florida 33510.
