Rev. Kelby "Brother Mac" E. McColister
McColister, "Brother Mac" Kelby E., REV. 88, of Tampa, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. He graduated from Stetson University then went to Baptist Seminary of New Orleans. Kelby was a pastor for much of his life and blessed many with his teachings. He touched many people and made friendships for life while pastoring at many churches, Liberty Gospel Tabernacle, First Baptist Church of Oldsmar, 70th Baptist Church, and currently at the Tabernacle of David. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty R. McColister, and grandson, Caleb Daniel. Survivors include his son, Charles (Jackie) McColister; grandchildren, Tori (Jerry) Oldham, Joshua, Rachel, Gabriel and Elijah McColister; great-granddaughter, Raelyn Oldham.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Clair-Mel First Assembly of God with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa, FL.
