He is survived by his wife, Edna "Pat"; son, Robert "Bob" Porteus, Terryville, CT; 2 daughters, Sandra Porteus, Wolcott, CT and Dorothy Breton, Southington, CT; sister, Margaret Berggren, Collinsville, CT; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
