Obituary for Raymeyon Horace Smart

Raymeyon H. Smart (Ray)

Ray S. passed away on January 24, 2026, at 44 years old after the most courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, a fight he faced head-on from May 1, 2024, until the very end.

Ray lived a life defined by curiosity, resilience, and an unyielding desire to understand how things worked. He was a lifelong learner, a problem-solver by nature.

He had a deep interest in technology, networking, automation, and language, often diving into complex ideas simply because they fascinated him. To Ray, learning was never a phase—it was a way of being.

Through his illness, Ray showed what it truly meant to be a warrior. He endured with strength, determination, and quiet resolve, never allowing the battle to define his spirit or diminish his mind. His courage was not loud, but it was relentless.

More than anything, Ray valued connection. He was a husband of ten years a father ,a thinker, a builder, and a steady force of persistence. Those who knew him best knew his humor, his focus when faced with a challenge, and his genuine desire to help others understand things that once felt impossible. Music is life to him His favorite was always Wu-Tang . His love of God was crucial through this whole thing called life and especially cancer and marriage and all that entails. L.o.g.i.c or Love of God is Crucial was a slogan he came up with that his wife and he created with and in love and they even named their pup Logic and he didn't even like dogs before meeting her all that well. Logic passed in October 2025 to meet Ray and they are both now with God and our angels and a heart full of love from Jesus.

Ray is survived by his wife, Brandy Rachelle Smart (Morris) of ten years who has never left his side in 13 years , his son Ethan Morris and Daughter in law Citlaly Castro Morris ,His daughter Shania Smart and her mother Alicia Smart of Lauderhill Fl , Father Reginald Smart ,step mother Tracy Smart(NY), Mother, Ruth Mc\Bbean and step father, Xavier McBean (Fl/Jamaica), His in laws Guy and Debbie Morris(FL) his brothers Dr Shaun Smart (TX), Xavier McBean, Rayshaun McBean, Alexander Smart, McKenson Smart, sister in law, Jessica Gaskins and her husband Taylor and brother in law, Evan Morris and his wife Rachel, and his beautiful nieces and nephew, and by all those whose lives he touched through shared knowledge, meaningful conversations, and moments of real understanding.

He will be remembered not just for what he knew, but for how fiercely he lived, how bravely he fought, and how deeply he cared.

L.o.g.i.c lives on
