MORLOCK, Ralph F.
MORLOCK, Ralph Frederick, passed from mortality into immortality the late afternoon of Sunday, June 24, 2007, at the age of 86 years. He was born in Jordan, Minn., August 18, 1920, the only son of Frederick Morlock and Martha Trenter Morlock. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Betty Morlock Limpert, of Minneapolis, Minn., who died October 4, 2001. After attending Jordan High School, he spent his entire working career with Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Co. (3M), retiring in 1982 after 36 years of faithful service. In June 2001, he moved to Brandon, Fla., to live with his widowed sister, Jean Morlock Hammond, who provided the constant, loving attention that sustained him during the last six years of the autumn of his life. He is survived by Betty' s children, two sons, Bill Limpert and Tim Limpert, and one daughter, Bonnie Limpert Jones, all of Minneapolis, Minn., and by Jean and her daughters, Patricia Dianne Barnes of Jupiter, Fla., and Linda Lea Locke of Woodway, Texas. Ralph was a kind and caring man who brought out the best in those who knew and loved him. We will miss him in the here and now, and we joyfully anticipate our reunion with him at the appointed time on the far side of the veil that now temporarily separates us. Southern Funeral Care of Riverview will prepare Mr. Morlock for transport to Minnesota, where Kessler-Maguire Funeral Home will be handle the burial at Elmhurst Cemetery in St Paul.
