SWEAT, Preston L., 91, of Riverview, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2008. A native of Hillsborough County, he worked for US Phosphoric for 35 years and was a US Army WWII veteran serving in France and Germany. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie and brother, Malcolm Sweat and is survived by his brother, John Sweat; two sisters, Melba Williams, both of Riverview and Bernice Clements, Sun City Center and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview, with Rev. Malcolm Clements officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa.
