SIMPSON, P.J. 'Jerry', 80, of Brandon, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. A native of Limona, FL, he was a life-long resident of the Brandon area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon; Brandon Jaycees; Honorable Order of the Blue Goose International; Volunteer Bailiff at Hillsborough County Courthouse and was Volunteer of the Year for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. He is survived by his wife, Annette; son, Phillip J. Simpson, II; daughter, Catherine S. Amburgey; brothers, Eugene and Robert W. Simpson; sister, Sharon McClendon; grandchildren, David, Michael and William and great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Alyssa and Luke.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Brandon, 216 N. Parsons Ave., with a reception to follow.
