Peter Cannon “PC” Morgan, 73, of Riverview, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2025. Born on August 17, 1951, in Newark, New Jersey, Peter’s life was a tapestry woven with craftsmanship, creativity, and quiet strength.
With hands that shaped both wood and trust, Peter led framing crews and shared his knowledge across countless trades—drywall installation, painting, finish carpentry, window installation, aluminum soffits, and screen porch construction. He became a guiding presence for many who sought not just repairs but reassurance. He answered every call not only because he could fix what was broken—but because he would.
Beyond the job site, Peter found artistry in the natural world. Whether tending to his garden beds or shaping wood with carving tools at his workbench, he created beauty in silence and color where words were not enough. His paintings whispered stories; his carvings held the warmth of intention. Fishing lines cast into still waters and salvaged treasures brought back to life—these were among the quiet joys that marked his journey.
Peter is lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Anita Morgan; his son John Morgan and daughter-in-law April Morgan; his daughter Brielle Styczynski and son-in-law Kevin Styczynski; and his grandchildren: Keerah Morgan, Henry Styczynski, Brady Cannon Styczynski, Kasey Styczynski, and Sophia Styczynski.
A service to honor Peter’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 21, 2025, at Friends and Family Church located at 17332 Carlton Branch Drive in Wimauma, Florida. In honor of Pete's artistry, bright and vibrant attire is requested.
Peter’s legacy lives on—in homes he helped raise, in gardens where blossoms bloom beneath sunlit skies, and in every carved detail that echoes care. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
