Pauline C. Harris
HARRIS, Pauline C., 94, of Brandon, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2010. Born May 6, 1916 in Lexington, KY, she came to Brandon from Miami in 1926. She attended Brandon High School, where her three children and 12 of her grandchildren graduated, a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon and was one of the original "Pink" ladies at Brandon Community Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Durward (Dud) Harris in 1972, she and Dud owned and operated the Harris Restaurant in Brandon in the 1950's and 60's. She is survived by her son, Durward (Donna) Harris; daughters, DeEtta Jenkins and Judy (Taylor) McMeen; 14 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 10, 2010, in Building A at the First Baptist Church of Brandon with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
