Paula Marie Boyle, (nee Lambright), was born in Coral Gables, FL on September 22, 1955 and passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2026. She was the youngest of four children born to Paul W. Lambright and Catherine M. McKevitt. She attended St. Theresa Catholic School and was a graduate of Lourdes Academy in Miami. She followed in both her sisters’ footsteps by attending nursing school and graduated with a 4.0 average from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Paula began working at the VA Hospital in Tampa immediately after graduation and stayed there her entire nursing career of thirtythree years. She had a special devotion to her “babies” in the nursing home care unit and this was mutually reciprocated. She had a booming laugh, which could fill a room. This was a special gift from God. Her Catholic faith was of utmost importance to her, and she had a particular devotion to The Divine Mercy.
On April 28, 2001, Paula married Albert Boyle. They were faithful to each other until his death in 2012. She had a zest for life despite the chronic illnesses she bore in her later years.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother, Michael A. Lambright. She is succeeded in life by her two sisters, Julie F. Rose and Valerie C. Arden. She will also be greatly missed by her nephews, John and Denny Boyle, her nieces, Christa Reid, Patricia DePagter and Michele Meyers, and her stepsons, Albert and Andrew Boyle. Her outgoing personality was instrumental in drawing her many friends to her.
