Obituary for Patricia Rae Downey
On April 6, 2020, Patricia Rae Downey passed away peacefully at her home in Tampa, FL. She was 74 years old. Patricia is survived by her two sisters, Joan Husbyn and Janett Forss; three children, Larry Downey, Jr., Michael Downey and Tamara Alonso; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was beloved by all that knew her. She had a strong fighting spirit and cared deeply for all her family and friends. Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, her funeral will be held privately among her immediate family. The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life at a future date when conditions permit. Her family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Brandon Fellowship Baptist Church, 2700 John Moore Road, Brandon, FL 33511, in Pat's memory.
