CARROLL, Patricia Marie, 42, of Valrico, was received in grace by our Lord on Thursday, September 27, 2007. Known affectionately to her family as "Petey", she was a 6th grade teacher at Nativity Catholic School. She was a native of North Huntingdon, PA and had resided in the Bay area for 10 years coming from Arnold, PA. A graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School and Seton Hill College, she became a Senior Buyer with Thrift Drug and Eckerd Corporation. She left the industry after 20 years and earned her teaching certificate. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon and was involved in the Baptism Team, the Mom's Club, the Confirmation Team and the Nativity School Auction Committee. She was also a member of the Valrico Oaks Homeowner's Association and a local book club. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard and Dina Demalon of Elizabeth, PA and George and Mary Bartko of West Mifflin, PA. and her loving great-aunt, Ann Hazy (Fransisconi, Trafalis) of Elizabeth Twp, PA. She is survived by her husband, Gerald R. Carroll; children, Anne Elizabeth, Dina Marie and Gerald, III, all of Valrico; parents, Leonard and Marie Demalon, North Huntingdon, PA; Sister, Cheryl Yurek (Larry), North Hills, PA, their children, Jeremey Weiss, Baltimore, MD, Jason Weiss, White Oak, PA and Justin Weiss, North Hills, PA; brother, Mark Demalon (Carol), Hermanie, PA, and their daughter, Jacqueline Demalon; sister, Lisa Alessandro (Ross), North Huntingdon, PA, and their children, Brittany, Antonio and Nicco; and sister, Stephanie Demalon, North Irwin, PA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 1, 2007, in the main sanctuary of Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, September 30, 2007, from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Nativity Catholic Church with a Wake Service at 7:45 P.M. Final services and interment will be in Aiken, S.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nativity Catholic School Gymnasium Fund, 705 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511. Please say a prayer for our loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, teacher and friend.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 1, 2007, in the main sanctuary of Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, September 30, 2007, from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Nativity Catholic Church with a Wake Service at 7:45 P.M. Final services and interment will be in Aiken, S.C.
