It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Nicholas Christopher Andreotti, age 22, of
Lithia, Florida, who passed away suddenly on November 1, 2025. Born in Stony Brook, New
York on December 27, 2002 raised in Smithtown, New York, then relocated to Lithia, Florida
and graduated Newsome High School 2021. Though his time with us was far too short, Nick was
a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to all who knew him.
Nick proudly served his country as a Specialist of the elite 82nd Airborne Division of the United
States Army, where he demonstrated courage, loyalty, and a deep sense of duty. He carried his
sense of humor wherever he went — even in uniform — reminding those around him that
laughter could get you through anything.
When he wasn’t serving, Nick can usually be found gaming with friends and spending time with
the people who meant the most to him. Whether he was cracking jokes with his brother, teasing
his parents, or teaming up with friends online, he had a way of making every moment brighter
and more fun.
Nick will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Greg and Mary Andreotti; his brother,
Anthony; grandmothers, Janice Cangelosi and Kathleen Brunjes; and a large loving circle of
aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Agnes
Brunjes, Joseph Brunjes and Gregory Andreotti Sr. His memory will continue to live on in each
of them, in every story told and every laugh shared.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nick’s life on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Visitation
11am at Southern Funeral Care 10510 Riverview Dr, Riverview, Florida 33578. Funeral services
will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home, with interment and military honors immediately
following at 2pm at Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
Those who knew Nick will remember his humor, his heart, and his unwavering love for family
and country. His spirit will live on in the laughter/smiles he brought to others and in the
memories he left behind.
In honor of Nick’s life, the family invites those who knew him to share a story, a laugh, or a
game in his memory — just the way he would have wanted
