THARP, Nancy Marie, 74, of Brandon, died November 3, 2022 after a long illness. She is dearly missed by her loving son and sister. Everyone that met her loved her. She brought sunshine into a room.
She was born September 19, 1948, in Richmond, Virginia. She was a graduate of Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She completed two years of the B.S. degree program in Management Information Systems at New Hampshire College.
She was part of the original cast members of Walt Disney World, 1971, first working at Pinocchio Village and later working as a financial secretary, where she received several commendations. She later worked for Digital Equipment in New Hampshire as a technical software writer and project specialist.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Henry (Buddy) and Millie Ransone, and by her sister, Carolann Ransone. She is survived by her son Keith Tharp, daughter-in-law Kate Harris, two grandchildren, Elisabeth and Michael, and by her sister Sandi Cassel and brother-in law Neal Cassel.
The family would like to thank Connie Van Damme with Adult Advocacy & Representation, Inc. for the loving care she provided for Nancy.
Nancy will be cremated and her ashes scattered. There will be no service.
