Nancy Jo Emerine, 82, of Lake Wales, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. A native of Corbin, KY, she had resided in the Tampa Bay area for over 50 years before moving to Lake Wales where she resided for five years. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lakes Wales, and she loved to volunteer at the church and at Meals on Wheels. More than anything she loved her family, especially her three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Frank Emerine; son, Doug Emerine (Michelle); daughter, Janet Eastham; sister, Barbara Cory (Danny); grandchildren, Kyle, Hunter and Blake and great-grandson, Hudson.
A memorial gathering will be held at Southern Funeral Care in Riverview, FL, on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 10 AM-12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Good Sheperd Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
