EMMONS, Nancy A., 78, of Valrico, FL, cherished and beloved wife of Earl J. Emmons since December 2000, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013. A native of Hartford, CT, she was a 1952 graduate of Windsor High School. Nancy and Earl were classmates and after graduation both went their separate ways, with Nancy eventually moving to CA and Earl to FL. Unknown to each other, both made plans to attend the 45th Class Reunion in Windsor where they renewed their friendship. Six months later, after attending his son's graduation from Law School in San Diego, Earl visited Nancy, after which Nancy would visit Earl in Valrico, FL. She soon moved to Valrico and she and Earl were married a year later. In addition to her cherished husband, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lori Crowder; sons, Raymond and William Estep; sisters, Marion Dowd and Susan Zorro; former daughter-in-law, Margaret Estep; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held later at Strawberry Ridge Mobile Home Park, Valrico, FL.
