BARNHARDT, Richard A., 74, lost his courageous fight with cancer and went to be with our maker Saturday, December 16, 2006. He leaves behind his wife, Helen C. Barnhardt, Brandon, Fla.; son, James R. Barnhardt, Riverview, Fla.; daughter, Deborah L. Barnhardt, Brandon, Fla.; brother, Tom Barnhardt, Charlotte, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Joan Russell, Valrico, Fla., and Donna Cardenas, Colorado; and nine grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2006, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, FL 33569, with the funeral service at noon Friday, December 22, at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center or to LifePath Hospice.
