GATO, Jr., Edward "Charlie", 90, of Tampa, went to be with his Lord and his wife of 60 years, Dorothea, on Monday, December 11, 2006. A Florida native and life-long resident of the Tampa area, he was a member of Brandon Fellowship Baptist Church, was a cabinet maker and woodworker and a loving father, grandfather and caring friend. He is survived by his sons, Edward A. (Nellie) Gato, Zephyrhills and Michael A. (Renee) Gato, Plant City; daughters, Dorothy M. Parker, Apollo Beach and Doreen Gunn, Bushnell; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and life-long friend, Ralph C. Main. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 14, 2006, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Tampa. The family will receive friends this evening (Wednesday) from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
