Michael Phillip Gough, 55, of Valrico, FL passed away October 7, 2022. He was born May 2, 1967, in Houston, Texas but claimed New Orleans as “where he was from.” Michael graduated from Brandon High School and attended Florida State University, but fiercely routed for Louisiana State University. A variety of destinations helped pursue his career path in restaurant management and the food service industry. Michael loved his gardens, butterflies, tennis, helping others and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church of Brandon. Michael is survived by his wife, Hope; sons – Alexander, Christopher, and Hudson plus grandson, AJ. Two bonus sons included Joshua and Caleb Schneider. Survived also by his parents, Warren and Sue Gough, plus siblings Thomas Gough and Jennifer Hansen. A memorial service will be held on October 30, 2022, at 3 PM at New Hope United Methodist Church of Brandon. The family requests donations rather than flowers, be contributed toward Forgotten Angels Florida.
