Melondy A. Zeigler Crain, 53 of plant city, FL received her wings on January 25th, 2026. A native and life long resident of the Plant City area. She was a graduate of Plant City High School, Class of 1990. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Emma Zeigler, Son Sinjin Bates, and brother in law Eddie Tatum. She is survived by her twin daughters Amber Bates and Morgan (Mark) Perez and her sister Vicky Tatum, and twin sister Stephanie (Tim) Corbiere and her nieces, Megan and Miranda Neely. She was a caring and loving Motherly Figure to many and to all her “adopted children”. She was a pillar of strength and brought sunshine and life to those around her with her gentle loving soul. She was an Angel here on Earth.
A Memorial Service will be held 10am Saturday January 31st, 2026 at Southern Funeral Care in Riverview, FL. With the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association.
