HENDRY, Mary Lillian, 77, of Brandon, succumbed to an eleven year courageous battle with breast cancer on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. A native of Bowling Green, FL, she had resided here since 1964 coming from Bartow, FL. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brandon; 35 years as an Auxillary volunteer at Brandon Regional Hospital, United Methodist Women, an avid tennis player, square dancer and bunco player. She is survived by her husband, Sherman; son, Doug Hendry, Englewood, FL; daughter, Deborah (Jerry) Halgash, Valrico; sister, Sadie Marchant, Bradley, FL; grandson, Chris Castellano; granddaughter, Cara Spoto and great-granddaughter, Chrystina.
Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church of Brandon with a reception to follow. Interment will be private.
