Mary Frances Duncan Heath
February 24, 1931 - August 7, 2021
Fran Heath was born in Haines City, FL on February 24, 1931 and left this earth at Hawthorne Village in Brandon, FL on August 7, 2021. Fran had put her faith and trust in Jesus early in her life and was ready to go to heaven. Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Rose Duncan and her siblings, Dewey, Evelyn, and Kenneth (Dunc). She is survived by her husband of 68 years,Roger, her adopted children, Richard and Iris, and Roger’s siblings, Gail Purvis and Frank Heath (wife – Carol). Fran met Roger on a blind date in 1951 and they were married on November 27, 1952. Fran had a number of different jobs over her lifetime including being a dental assistant, Real Estate agent and working with the Florida State Fair for 17 years. She was a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church and served as the church hostess, taught teenagers, and in the last 20 years taught 2nd graders in the Children’s Ministry. Fran loved to read, fish, go to Florida Gator football games, and serve others. As a Senior in High School Fran was elected “Best All Around” in her class and she carried that title throughout her life. Fran loved the Lord with all her heart and wanted others to come to know Jesus. She has received her “well done, good and faithful servant” from the Lord.. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bell Shoals Baptist Church Building Fund.
