Obituary for Mary Fitzpatrick Moody

Mary Fitzpatrick Moody, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on 10/8/2025 at Lifepath Hospice in Ruskin, Florida at the age of 82. She was born on December 21, 1942 to Frank and Jennie Fitzpatrick in Cudahy, Wisconsin. She attended Cudahy High School where her teacher encouraged her to take the Civil Service Exam. Mary was hired by the Social Security Administration where she worked as a Operations Supervisor for 50+ years. Mary is known for her dedication to her family and friends and Mary would put everyone else’s needs before her own. She spent countless hours watching her children play football and soccer, was a Team Mom and volunteered for the Town N Country Youth Soccer League. Mary was preceded in death by her son Brian Moody. She is survived by her daughter Beth Sickles (Matt) of Apollo Beach, FL; son, Dennis Moody (Crissie) of Raleigh, NC; Grandchildren Jennifer Gelinas (Spencer) Edmonton, AB, CA: Jacob Sickles of Riverview, FL; Parker Moody of Raleigh, NC; Aiden Moody of Raleigh, NC and Megan Moody of Greenville, SC; brother, Dennis Fitzpatrick of Cudahy, Wisconsin, Niece, Susan Fitzpatrick Cardenas (Jim) of Las Vegas; Niece, Renee Fitzpatrick-Forsythe (Chuck); of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; Nephew, Tim Fitzpatrick (Brenda) of Cudahy, Wisconsin; Great Nieces Kayla Lange and Loren Fitzpatrick; Great Nephews Kyle Lange and Tyler Fitzpatrick all of Cudahy and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mary is also survived by her cats Dr. Mark “Sloan” and Annie. The family would like to thank St. Joseph South and Lifepath Hospice for their compassion and assistance during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held 7/24/2026 at Lake Beaulah in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Lifepath Hospice
