Mary Faye Pafford, a lifelong resident of Tampa, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, at the age of 89. Faye, as most knew her, was born, on July 30, 1935, to Ansel Clifton “AC” and Mary Lou Frink. Faye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose life was a testament to faith, love, and kindness.
In 1953, Faye married the love of her life, Raymond Jerry Pafford. Together, they built a home filled with love and laughter. A faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Faye found joy and purpose in her church community and in serving others with a generous heart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond, and her brother, Cliff Frink Jr. and nephew Cliff Frink III. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Elozory (Todd) and Sheri Boyette (Kevin), as well as seven grandchildren — Ashleigh, Aaron, Alex, Allie, Kayla, Benjamin, and Wesley —and one cherished great-grandson, Emerson.
Faye will be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, a caring and nurturing mother, and a giving and thoughtful friend. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will be deeply treasured.
Services will be held at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, FL 33578. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in her honor.
