She attended the Lone Oak Baptist Church, Plant City, FL; charter member of the Ladie's Auxillary, VFW Post 7128, Cooperstown, NY; Order of the Eastern Star, Cooperstown, NY and charter member of the Red Creek Valley Grange. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Smith and is survived by her husband, Robert Simmons; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Rosemary Simmons, Frankfort, NY; brother, Leland Smith, Pearl River, NY; grandchildren, Bobby and Robin Simmons and Sammy and Sonja Simmons and great-grandchildren, Willow, Rosie, Skye, Lily, Sophia, Justin and Cameron.
