Obituary for Maria Rosa Garcia Gonzalez
Maria Rosa Garcia Gonzalez was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on June 25, 1936. She passed away at the age of 87 on August 20, 2023, after a long struggle with dementia. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jorge L. Garcia Perez; her children, Jorge Alberto, Roberto Luis, Maria De Lourdes, and Lissette. She was abuela to Kristi, Hanna, Zachary, Jordan, Ethan, Trey, and Winton; bisabuela to Tobias, Evangeline, Cooper, Milo, and Noah. Maria was a devoted military wife who always put the needs of her family first. She was a wonderful mother and wife whose unconditional love was the glue that kept the family together during both the good and bad times.
She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Services are private.
