Obituary for Margaret Newman Shull
Margaret Newman Shull, 91, of Brandon passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. She was a native of Florida, born in Inverness. Margaret lived in Brandon for over twenty years. She was a hair salon business owner for most of her life beginning in high school. Margaret was a loving wife, precious mother of her only child, Pamela Stephens (son-in-law, Larry), two granddaughters, Lauren Palmer and Sandi Neal, also, two great grandsons, Kristopher Neal and Mark Austin Mallow. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 37 years, Edward Newman, and later in life, William A Shull. Margaret had a love for people, golfing, and extensive traveling. Her boundless love for her family and friends will be greatly missed. She was a Christian and longtime member of the Bell Shoals Church of Christ in Brandon. We will truly miss Margaret’s gentle smile and nature. A special appreciation to her devoted home assistant of 8 years, Cathy McClernan and another special thank you to Dr. Benakanahalli (Dr. Ben) who gave her the greatest of tireless medical care and concern. Services celebrating Margaret’s life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, Florida 33578. Her visitation and viewing will be at 1:00 PM, followed by services at 2:00 PM. All are welcome. Margaret’s final resting place will be Ft. Denaud Cemetery in LaBelle, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret’s memory to: Bell Shoals Church of Christ, 2908 Bell Shoals Rd, Brandon FL 33511.
