HOLTON, Marcheta Raines, 85, of Brandon, FL, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011. A native of High Springs, FL, she resided here for 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon and the former secretary of Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago, Tampa. She is survived by her daughter, Marcheta Holton, Brandon, FL; son, Leon Holton, Bethune, SC; brother, Chris Nettles, Orlando, FL and sister, Azilda Cooper, Gainesville, FL.
Funeral Information
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2011, in the chapel at First Baptist Church of Brandon. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Evans-Carter Funeral Home, High Springs, FL. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Spring Hill Cemetery, Alachua, FL.
