Obituary for Marc W. Wicklund
Marc W. Wicklund, 40, of Ruskin, FL, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2021. Marc was born on May 5, 1981, in Tampa, FL and graduated from Bloomingdale High School, Class of 1999. Marc was an excellent soccer player in his youth and enjoyed golf, all sports and especially fantasy football. He was proud in the fact that he and his father twice won the Buckhorn Springs father-son golf tournament. His laugh and smile would warm all our hearts. He is survived by his mother, Susan Wicklund, Ruskin; father, Kurt (Sylvia Christy) Wicklund, Treasure Island; sister, Kelly (Daniel) Grossman, Dunedin; as well as several aunts, uncles and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Chester and Phyllis Osheyack and paternal grandparents, Walter and Ida Marie Wicklund. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. A Reception and Celebration of Life will be held after the services at Linksters Tap Room, 13155 US Hwy. 301 So., Riverview, FL 33578.
