WOMACK, Mack W., 82, of Riverview, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. He was born in Lynchburg, Virginia and graduated High School in Baltimore, MD. Mack started his Military Career in the USAF in 1951 in Bitburg Airbase, Germany and Retired 26 years later in 1977. After his career in the military he spent 20 plus years and later retired from the US Postal Service. He was an avid world traveler, he and Evelyn traveled the Country in their RV and they were members of the Family Campers RVers, also he was a Sertoma member, an avid golfer, and most of all he was a committed family man, Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Evelyn; sons, Michael (Jan) Womack, and Kevin Womack; daughter, Delia "Dee" (William) Miller; brothers, Raymond (Marion) Womack, and Owen Womack; sister, Joyce Knox; 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Southern Funeral Care with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
