MT1 Michael James Bartlett, US Navy, 35, passed away from a motorcycle accident in Oregon on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. A resident of the Brandon area from 1980-95, a Brandon High School graduate, a member of Central Christian Church, Tampa, Michael was actively serving in the US Navy in the submarine fleet. He is survived by his son, Christopher Robert Bartlett, Fort Myers, FL; companion, Candiya Mann, Bremerton, WA; parents, Al and Patt Bartlett; sisters, Dawn, Vikki and Dianna Bartlett, all of Brandon, FL and nephew, Ayden Bartlett.
Funeral Information
The family will have a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview.
