MAJ Miguel A. Morales-Martinez (USA-Ret.)
Morales, MAJ Miguel A. (USA, Ret.), 60, of Valrico, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at his home. Miguel was an Army veteran of 20 years and worked as an Army Nurse Corps officer. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he finished his Bachelors in Science of Nursing at the Puerto Rico's Catholic University, Ponce, P.R. After completing his degree, he joined the U.S. Army and served around the World. Later, he worked for over 10 years at the Spinal Cord Injury Center of James A. Haley VA Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Awilda Morales and his children, Michelle, Jennifer, and Mikey.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 27, 2012, in the chapel of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Rd., Brandon, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
