Falcon, Luz Amarilys age 82, affectionately known as Mara, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at her home of 17+ years near Tampa, FL. She was born March 10th, 1943 in San Juan, PR to Isidoro Falcon and Luz Maria Tebar.
Mara was predeceased by her parents, her oldest son, Axel Eduardo Cintron and her brother Jose Edgardo (Elba Blanes) Falcon. She is survived by her husband of 61 wonderful years of marriage, Juan Isidro Cintron, three children, Zuharmi Marie, Ivan Alberto (Katherine) and Dario Fernando (Michelle Murphree) Cintron; three grandchildren, Lexa Marie, Ian Axel and Amory Grace Cintron; two sisters, Miriam Margarita (Hector) Santana, Myrta Milagros Falcon (widowed); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mara attended high school at Colegio San Antonio and continued her education at an Interior Design School in PR. She was a full time Mother and a business partner with her husband in many entrepreneurial ventures throughout the years. Mara was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and her favorite prayer was “La Oración al Angel de la Guardia”.
Mara was our biggest cheerleader, never ran from a fight and was always happy to light up a party! Her love of music and creative arts will forever remain with all of us. Mara lived a full and wonderful life and was truly loved and respected by family, friends, and colleagues.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
