RICH, Luke Edward, 72, of Miramar Beach, FL, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010. A native of Valrico, FL, he had resided in Brandon, FL, Atlanta, GA and Franklin, NC before retiring in Miramar Beach, FL in 2003. He was one of the top salesman for Case Power Equipment in Tampa, FL before being promoted to General Manager of their store in the Atlanta, GA. He left Case Power Equipment in 1990 and started Richland Equipment Company in Lawrenceville, GA where he was the owner before retiring in 2003. He was a member of Brandon Masonic Lodge #114, F. A.M. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; three sons, Steven W. Rich, Asheville, NC, Kenneth E. Rich, Miramar Beach, FL and Brian L. (Cheryl) Rich, Suwanee, GA; sister, Barbara (Ralph) King, Plant City; brother, James (Elaine) Rich, Cumming, GA and two grandchildren, Lauren and Peyton Rich.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. (Noon) Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Brandon, FL with Masonic Graveside services by Brandon Masonic Lodge #114, F. A.M.
