Luella Royal Daniel, 87, of Brandon, Florida, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Monday, June 12, 2023. A Brandon resident since 1962, Luella did clerical work in the Brandon High School library for over twenty years and was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Brandon (New Hope), also serving as church secretary for several years. She was an avid gardener and loved to host and cook for her family. Nothing was more important to Luella than being a mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Royal, and mother, Frances Phillips Royal. She is survived by her beloved sister, Helen VanArsdale (Charles); daughter, Candace Coker (Lee); son, Christopher Daniel (Beverly); grandchildren, Meghan Stephens (Zach), Mollie Grooms (Kenny), Benjamin Daniel (Crystal), Jonah Daniel, Noah Daniel (Jessie), Abigail Douglas, and Tyler Douglas; three great-granddaughters, Lucy Jane, Charlotte, and Kori and two great-grandsons, Liam and Dawson. A service to honor her life will be hosted by her family at a future date. --
