Lorenz (Larry) R. Unterfer
Lorenz R. (Larry) Unterfer, 80, a life-time resident of Brandon, went to heaven on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked for Johnson Johnson and was a member of the Johnson Johnson Sales Hall of Fame. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. His greatest achievement was his family. He was the patriarch of his large and loving family and will be missed by his wife of 62 years, Katie; daughters, Robyn (Tom) Payant, Lynn (Howard) Flagg and son, Rudy (Sara) Unterfer; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he was a founding member, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:00 A.M.
