Lois Scott (Landers) Rushing
RUSHING, Lois Scott (Landers), 97, of Riverview, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010. A native of Mulberry, she was a lifetime resident of the area, a member of 1st Baptist Church of Riverview and a 35 year "Accident Free" bus driver for the Hillsborough Co. School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Rushing and three grandsons, Buddy, Lane and Timothy Exum and is survived by her son, Fred Landers, Jr.; two daughters, Vera L. Exum and Freida Hester-Bates, all of Riverview; four grandchildren, Catherine Stephens, Andrea Ford, Park Landers and Catherine "Stacy" O'Neal; 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Hackney Cemetery, Rivrview, FL.
