Obituary for Leland Allen Hawkins
Leland “Allen” Hawkins, Sr., 61, of Valrico, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He loved his Lord and family, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rhonda; children, Leland “Allen”, Jr. (Megan) of Mayo, Florida, Melissa (David) of Plant City, Florida, his 6 grandchildren; Dakota, Caleb, Rylee, Lily, Tobias and Abigail; father Leland; sister, Alise. He was a TECO employee for 37 years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Brandon, 216 N. Parsons Ave, Brandon, where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 A.M. Committal to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa. Please wear bright colors in Allen’s honor. Due to gravesite restrictions, donations can be made in his memory to Countryside Baptist Church.
