SHAW, Lawrence Hayden "Larry", "Weatherman", 84, of Wimauma, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Born in Weymouth, MA, he served in the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald H. and Marjorie Worstor Shaw and brother, Russell Shaw. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Minnie Lee; daughter, Kathryn (Jeffrey) Weissman; son, Lawrence H. Shaw, Jr.; brother, Norman T. Shaw; grandchildren, Emily and Ben and nieces, Joanna, Kristin and Wendy. A graduate of Weymouth High School, he received his Bachelor's Degree of Science from University of Mass and a Master's Degree in Meteorology at MIT. He loved all things weather and was a weather forecaster for the Civilian Federal Government, briefing pilots on weather conditions and later joined the National Weather Service - NOAA. He was a member of the Lion's Club in Slidell, LA for 32 years and was a member of the Lion's Club in Sun City Center. Larry and Lee moved to the Valencia Lakes community in Wimauma, FL in 2007.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg, FL.
