BAKER, III, Larry Leon, 26, of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008. A native of Grand Rapids, MI, he resided here most of his lifetime. He was a graduate of Michigan State University and graduated first in his class at the Grand Valley State University Police Academy. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Holly Kathleen Baker and is survived by his mother, Evonne M. Baker (Zane Stowers), Tampa; father, Larry L. Baker, II, Grand Rapids, MI; brother, Dustin Stanley Baker, Tampa; the love of his life, Angela McCollum, Tampa; maternal grandparents, Donald and Kathleen Holecek, Tampa; paternal grandparents, Larry and Shirley Baker, Grand Rapids, MI and his canine companion, Xeke.
Funeral Information
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 A.M. Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tampa. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this evening (Wednesday) from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Marsicano-B. Marion Reed-Stowers Funeral Home, 4040 Henderson Blvd., Tampa.
