THORNHILL, Larry E., 68, of Valrico, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014. A native of Kittanning, PA, he had resided here since 1982 coming from North Carolina. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Southeastern Outdoor Writer's Assoc.; the Florida Outdoor Writer's Assoc.; O.D.U. Magazine; the N.R.A and the Florida Wildlife Federation. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; son, Larry "Butch" (Tiffany) Thornhill; daughter, Kree (Carlos) Morales; brother, George Veronesi; sister, Debra Boozer; 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 25, 2014, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Those who wish may make donations to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 12902 Magnolia Drive, UTC-FOUND, Tampa, FL 33612.
