Kristina Tharpe Justice, 54 of Valrico, FL passed away suddenly on May 25, 2025. Kristina was
born on September 5, 1970, in Miami FL to Carol and James Tharpe.
Kristina "Kris" was always full of life and adventure. Soon after high school, Kris decided to move
overseas, living in Ireland for two years. This bold leap reflected her free spirit and willingness to
embrace the unknown. Kris also loved the water and always wanted to be near it whether it was
fishing or just relaxing on the beach. She always said she can't live far from the ocean it was a
place of peace for her.
Kris deeply cherished her family and held a special place in her heart for her grandmother, Elsie
Santa Padilla Mederos, and her grandfather, Rafael Antonio Mederos, who played a significant
role in raising her in Miami. Her bond with her children, Chester James Justice and Kristina
"Kate" Justice, was equally profound. She adored them with all her being. Kristina was preceded
in death by her Grandparents Elsie Mederos and Rafael Mederos. Her parents, Carol Mederos
Tharpe, her father James Alden Tharpe, and brother Peter Tharpe. She is survived by her soul
mate Mark Machias and her two beautiful children Chester James Justice and Kristina Kate
Justice. No services at this time.
