It is with a broken heart that we announce Kevin Louis Mayle, 65, of Riverview, FL, passed away on Friday, July 28th, 2023, peacefully at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Kevin was born September 12th, 1957, in Youngstown, Ohio. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. After high school, he enlisted in the Marines, ranked as Lance Corporal, serving 4 years. Kevin was proud and honored to serve as a United States Marine.
In 1994, Kevin met the love of his life, Lynn. It was love at first sight, and they've been happily married for 30 years. Together they had one daughter, Melissa. He was a loving and devoted Husband & Father.
In recent years, his focus has been spending time with and enjoying his grandchildren to the fullest. They were his pride and joy. He was a proud grandpop to 5 grandchildren.
Aside from his love for his family, Kevin’s true passion in life was riding his Harley and being in the wind. God knows how he used to enjoy and love those Sunday rides and bike rallies with his wife and friends.
Kevin was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all of his life experiences.
When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. Kevin asked Jesus Christ into his life and was glad to spend eternity with his family. He will be missed dearly.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Oral “Jim” and Vera Mayle; his brother, Jimmy Mayle and sister, Wendy Stamp. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Mayle; daughter Melissa (Frank) Snyder; his 5 grandchildren, Francisco Jr. “Frankie”, Sienna, Thomas, Briana and Daenerys; his sisters, Katherine (Jerry) Adcock, Jeanie Mayle, Theresa (LeeJo) Sanchez and many other relatives & friends.
A funeral service will be held at Southern Funeral Care,10510 Riverview Drive Riverview, FL, 33578, on Monday, August 7th, 2023, at 4PM with family receiving friends one hour prior to services. There will be a reception following the service to share memories and celebrate Kevin’s life.
