Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Melissa Kunkel; daughter, Logan Kunkel; parents, Jerry and Patty Kunkel; brothers, Klay Kunkel, and Kory Kunkel (Rhonda); sister, Kathy McFarland. A celebration of life service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 at Southern Funeral Care with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the WoundedWarriorProject.org, in memory of Kevin.
