TANKERSLEY, Kenneth L.
TANKERSLEY, Kenneth L., 54, of Valrico, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007 after a long, hard battle with cancer. He was born in Brooksville, Florida but spent most of his life in the Brandon area. He served in the Navy Reserves for a short time before marrying his high school sweetheart, Pam, in 1972. Although he spent all his life in the hardware business, his true passion was his family. He was a dad to three children, Amy Munilall, Carrie Kinney and Matthew Tankersley. He was also a very loved Papa to his darling grandson, Joshua Munilall. He is also survived by his 4 sisters, Evelyn Paul, Eloise Black, Edna Darsey and Yvonne Morgan. He was precedded in death by his father, Fred and his beloved mother, Mabel (Dee Dee). He also leaves behind a great number of friends who are sharing in the family's grief. The family will receive friends Friday, November 23, 2007, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, November 24, 2007, at 2:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church, Brandon. Interment will follow in Serenity Meadows. Flowers accepted or donations made to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, 12902 Magnolia Dr., UTC-FOUND, Tampa, FL 33612.
