Kenneth Andrew Bodwell of Wimauma, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at the age of 78.
Born on August 4, 1947, in Hartford, Connecticut, Ken was the son of Kenneth Marshall Bodwell and Helen Mary (Crafa) Bodwell. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the Air National Guard and the United States Air Force Reserve.
In 1971, Ken married the love of his life, Elizabeth Carol Glover. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, family, and adventure, sharing 54 wonderful years of marriage.
Ken devoted more than four decades to the HVAC service industry, where he earned the respect of colleagues throughout the field. He owned several successful businesses, taught and lectured at industry events, and contributed editorials to trade publications. His knowledge, leadership, and passion for his work left a lasting impact on the industry and the many people he mentored throughout his career.
Outside of work, Ken's greatest joys were his family, Scouting adventures with his sons, days spent fishing and making memories with his grandchildren. He had a gift for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable experiences. Known for his genuine nature, sense of humor, and love of fun, Ken never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth; his sons, Nicholas (Janie) and Richard (Erika); his grandchildren, Ethan Morris, Macy Berrios (Greg), Nicole, Karolyn, Kyle, and Wyatt; and his sister, Joann Tullock.
Ken's legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he shared, and the memories that continue to bring smiles to those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 1, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the ISS Mechanical office, 600 Gem Commerce Court, Apopka, FL 32703.
Family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives were touched by Ken are warmly invited to attend, share stories, laughter, and memories, and celebrate a life that was truly well lived.
