Kaye F. (Cauble) Lewis, 85, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Kaye lived a life defined by kindness, grace, and quiet resilience. She had a heart that made room for everyone and a spirit that brought warmth wherever she went. Whether through a gentle word, a shared laugh, or a steady embrace, she made those around her feel deeply loved and valued.
She is survived by her three beloved sisters, Irma Bingham, Lynn Hott, and Sarah Cannon with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and sisterly bonds that could never be broken.
Kaye was a devoted mother to her two children, Dennis Edward Lewis,Theresa Kae O’Neal and cherished their spouses as her own. Her pride in her children was evident in all she did, and her love for them was steadfast and unconditional.
Her legacy continues through her ten grandchildren: Bryan Lewis, Raquel Lewis, Allan Lewis, Christopher Duchesne, Alyssa Duchesne, Katelyn (Leonard) Archbell, Zachary Leonard, Andrea O’Neal, Brandon O’Neal and Sarah O’Neal along with all of their spouses. She found immense joy in watching her grandchildren grow, celebrating their accomplishments, and being a guiding presence in their lives.
She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable happiness and renewed wonder in her later years. Becoming a great-grandmother was one of her greatest joys, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Kaye’s life was a testament to the power of family. She taught through example—showing what it means to love deeply, forgive freely, and remain strong in the face of life’s challenges. Her presence was a gift, her laughter a comfort, and her memory a blessing.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the 85 beautiful years we were given with her. Her love lives on in every story told, every family gathering, and every quiet moment when we feel her spirit near.
She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
